My sister told me about this really awesome website where people can make their own playlists and listen to others. I love the whole aesthetic. Listen to mine
Inspired by spring break and my favorite Californian sunny spots (palm springs, santa barbara) I made a two part mix. Being the sap I am, the first mix is more feisty with a latin heat flair, and the second one is more mellow bossa nova. I will be sucking up the californian weather while home for a short week.
What I am listening to this week. I am calling this playlist natural curiosities randomly after one of my favorite books of all time: The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities. I only have the small version but one day I am going to own the large one that costs like $300. The images are so gorgeous and inspiring.
Right now I am loving the CD of Rufus Wainwright singing Judy Garland live at Carnegie Hall. Rufus is amazing to begin with but him singing Judy Garland is beyond brilliant and so quintessentially bizarre, but in a good way.
I love making playlists for anything I can think of making one for. This is my one for the rest of the month. There are some old favorites on here and then some new ones for good measure.
