Pretty Toothpaste.
I love packaging more than anything. I will buy something totally unnecessary just because I like the package. Nothing delights me more than everyday items that come in packaging that makes the product seem special and indulgent. Toothpaste is something that we have to use everyday, and why stare at a horrible Crest or Oral B tube when you have these products to choose from:
Moroccan Poufs.
When I went to college, I brought along with me my pink Moroccan pouf. It became sort of famous. Everyone wanted to sit on this strange exotic stuffed thing that sat beside my bed. It now sits in my room at home where I occasionally stare at it with adoration because it is just so darling.

Sunday Secrets.
My friends from Emerson are huge fans of Post Secret and now I am addicted to it too. For those of you who don't know what it is, it is a blog (and also a series of books) that features anonymous postcards that people send in with their secrets. Some of them are funny, others are really sad, but it is endearing to read what people feel but will only admit on a postcard.

I was first introduced to the amazing M. Ward through his collaborative project with Zooey Deschanel, She And Him. I have been listening to a lot of his music lately and I just adore it. His new CD, Hold Time, comes out February 17.
