Weekend Pancakes.

Nothing is more satisfying than having a decadent breakfast on the weekends. A rare treat that I sometimes make are these blueberry ricotta pancakes from the Neal Fraser restaurant BLD. The only reason I like going to eat there are for these pancakes which I can now make at home whenever I feel like it. I have been enjoying cooking a lot lately and anytime I discover a particularly remarkable recipe I will share it here.

The Perfect Tote.

I just got two of these totes on sale from Gap. I am using one to hold stuff right now but the other is going to serve as my perfect lugging around tote. It is huge and not very stiff so it is great for carting around awkwardly shaped items. I plan on using it for all my art supplies.

The Last Emperor.

Today I went to see the documentary about fashion designer Valentino. It was just delightful and highly recommend everyone see it.
"I was driving down Sunset and I turned up one of those roads that leads into the hills. I stopped at this place that overlooks the whole city. It was fantastic. I suddenly felt exhilarated. I was really moved by the geometry of the place, its conception, its harmony. It's a fabulous city. To think some people claim its an ugly city when it's really pure poetry just kills me."

Back.

I just got back from my fantastic trip to Asia. I was in Bangkok, Phuket, Cambodia (just for the day), and Seoul. My mom and I had such a wonderful time! You can see my photos here.
