I want these sooooo badly.

I have been pining over a pair of wingtip oxfords for months now and I still have not found a good pair. These are amazing but I don't know where they are from.

Ferdinand.

i love anchors.

and i like drawing them on my wrist.

I can't wait to see...

these two exhibits. I am just so ridiculously happy to be going home. I get so sentimental when it comes to California these days. I love going to LACMA and MOCA. I used to take art classes at LACMA when I was in first grade and I interned there last year. I used to always enjoy going to MOCA when I took jazz and drum lessons at the Colburn next door. Wow I was quite the renaissance girl. My oh my why did I ever leave LA? I am trying to convince myself that it is because if I didn't leave now then I never would. I plan on living there after school anyway. I am also going to hit up Chinatown, but not for salmonella turtles.

In anticipation...

for going home (yay warm weather, coffee bean, and santa monica!) I made a travel playlist.

i hope i live my life by this:

"It matters not
Who you love
Where you love
Why you love
When you love
Or how you love
It matters only that you love."
-John Lennon

Polaroids.

I love taking polaroids. Who doesn't like instant satisfaction? Its fun to look at other people's too because no matter your level of photographic skill your pictures always look artistic and good. Here are some random ones I found:

bows + babydoll dresses= my favorite look.

Lula.

Lula is the most amazing magazine. I am obsessed with its technicolored childlike photo spreads.

pictures galore.

i want a frenchie.

especially if it comes wearing a dapper coat.

My favorite look of the moment.

my current playlist.

What I am listening to this week. I am calling this playlist natural curiosities randomly after one of my favorite books of all time: The Cabinet of Natural Curiosities. I only have the small version but one day I am going to own the large one that costs like $300. The images are so gorgeous and inspiring.

My room.

i love my room at school.

Rufus does Judy.

Right now I am loving the CD of Rufus Wainwright singing Judy Garland live at Carnegie Hall. Rufus is amazing to begin with but him singing Judy Garland is beyond brilliant and so quintessentially bizarre, but in a good way.

Can this be my child?

I can only have a child if it looks like this.

Childhood Favorites.

My favorite books today still seem to be the ones I remember most vividly from my childhood. This includes Eloise and The Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler. They both have in common young girls galavanting about NYC. No wonder I like them so much...
